Acceptance and Scope

These Terms govern use of the Red Dot Shooting Academy website, student portal, booking system, payment workflows, waivers, certificates, and training-related services. By using the site, creating an account, booking, paying, submitting a waiver, or attending training, you agree to these Terms and any policies incorporated by reference.

Eligibility and Accurate Information

You must meet course age, legal, safety, identification, and prerequisite requirements. You agree to provide complete and accurate information and to promptly update it when necessary. RDSA may refuse or cancel enrollment when eligibility cannot be verified.

Student Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Do not share access. Notify RDSA promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

RDSA may suspend access to protect account security, investigate misuse, enforce policy, or comply with law.

Bookings and Seat Holds

A displayed opening does not guarantee enrollment. Card and Zelle workflows may create temporary seat holds. A reservation is confirmed only after required payment is successfully processed or manually verified and any additional requirements are satisfied.

Expired, abandoned, declined, rejected, duplicate, or unverifiable payment attempts may release the seat. RDSA may correct obvious booking or roster errors.

Payments

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Card payments may be processed by Stripe. Zelle payments require manual verification in the academy’s bank account. Submission of a screenshot or reference number does not by itself confirm payment.

You authorize RDSA and its payment providers to process the selected transaction and related refunds, reversals, or dispute responses.

Booking & Rescheduling Policy

• A reservation fee equal to 50% of the course value is required to hold a seat unless the booking page states otherwise.
• Classes must be paid in full at least 24 hours before the scheduled class. A student who is permitted to pay at the range may be charged an additional $25 administrative fee.
• Confirmed classes, whether fully paid or secured by an accepted deposit, are transferable but nonrefundable, subject to the conditions below.
• A class may be rescheduled without penalty when written notice is received by email or through the RDSA system at least 7 calendar days before the class. The amount paid will be issued as full credit toward a future class.
• A $50 rescheduling fee may apply when the requested replacement date is more than 30 days after the original class date.
• For notice received 6 days or fewer before the class, or for a no-show without prior written notice by email, text message, WhatsApp, or the RDSA system, a $100 rescheduling fee may apply.
• Range fees and standard targets are included in the course price. Ammunition is not included. Students should plan for approximately 200–300 rounds per person, per course, unless the course description states otherwise.
• Only registered and paid students are permitted in the classroom or on the range, except where RDSA expressly authorizes otherwise. This restriction is based on range-access, insurance, and liability requirements.
• Pistol rentals may be available for $50 per class and may include a pistol, holster, three magazines, and a two-magazine carrier. Ammunition and a belt are not included unless expressly stated.
• Rifle, shotgun, or other firearm rentals may be available only by special request made before the course and are subject to availability.
• In a genuine emergency, limited quantities of 9mm ammunition may be available for purchase at the range through approved payment methods such as Zelle, Venmo, or cash. Availability and price are not guaranteed.
• A Florida concealed-carry course-completion certificate is included with the Pistol 101 course when the student satisfactorily completes the class and all requirements. The certificate will be sent electronically.
• A rain check or course credit will be issued only when the hosting range closes because of lightning or another qualifying safety condition. This is a credit, not a cash refund.
• All official booking, payment, transfer, cancellation, and rescheduling communications must be made through the RDSA system or in writing by email. RDSA may also accept text or WhatsApp notice for urgent scheduling matters, but telephone calls alone are not sufficient notice.
• No alcohol, illegal drugs, or impairing substances may be consumed before, during, or immediately after class activities. RDSA may refuse, pause, or end training at any time when safety, fitness to participate, conduct, or legal compliance is in question.

Questions: Students should use email, text message, WhatsApp, or the RDSA system. Telephone calls are not the preferred communication method for booking or policy matters.

Refunds, Cancellations, and Transfers

Refunds, cancellations, transfers, credits, and rescheduling are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy in effect when the booking is made, unless RDSA agrees otherwise in writing.

Processor fees, nonrefundable deposits, missed-class charges, or transfer fees may apply where disclosed and lawful.

Waivers and Electronic Signatures

All required waivers, releases, acknowledgments, and safety documents must be completed truthfully before participation. Electronic signatures, timestamps, audit information, and document snapshots may be used as evidence of agreement.

Failure to complete a current required waiver may result in delayed participation, rescheduling, or cancellation.

Safety and Instructor Authority

Firearms training involves inherent risks. Students must follow all commands, range rules, equipment requirements, and safety procedures. Instructors and range personnel have final authority over safety during training.

RDSA may pause or end participation, remove a student, secure equipment, or contact emergency services or law enforcement when reasonably necessary for safety, policy enforcement, or legal compliance.

Student Conduct

Threatening, reckless, intoxicated, harassing, discriminatory, disruptive, dishonest, or unlawful behavior is prohibited. Students may not attend while impaired or possess prohibited items.

Removal for serious misconduct or unsafe behavior may occur without refund to the extent permitted by law and academy policy.

Firearms, Ammunition, and Equipment

Students are responsible for ensuring personally supplied firearms, ammunition, holsters, protective equipment, and other gear are lawful, safe, serviceable, and appropriate for the course. RDSA may prohibit any equipment it considers unsafe or unsuitable.

Media and Publicity

Photography, video, audio, testimonials, and promotional use are governed by the Media & Photography Policy and any specific release or opt-out process. Unauthorized recording of instructors, students, private conversations, course materials, or restricted areas is prohibited.

Intellectual Property

RDSA branding, curricula, course materials, website content, software, certificates, graphics, photographs, videos, and documents are protected by intellectual-property laws. No license is granted except the limited right to use the services for personal, lawful participation.

Acceptable Website and Portal Use

You may not probe security, bypass access controls, scrape private data, impersonate others, upload malicious content, interfere with service operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use the platform for unlawful activity.

Disclaimers

Training outcomes vary. RDSA does not guarantee certification, employment, licensing, legal eligibility, personal-defense outcomes, or mastery of any skill. Course information may change due to instructor availability, range conditions, safety concerns, weather, emergencies, or operational needs.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RDSA and its owners, instructors, staff, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from website use, booking systems, payment-provider interruptions, or training services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Changes and Severability

RDSA may revise these Terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
